Petitioner Manjit Kaur in person Mr. J.S.Brar, AAG, Punjab, for the respondent Fateh Deep Singh, J. (Oral) Today, Rajwinder Kaur who has been identified by Inspector Lakhwinder Singh, SHO, Police Station Sadar Amritsar as well as her husband Inderjit Singh has come present under the escort of the police and she has made statement that she is married to Inderjit Singh out of which the couple has two sons and one daughter and submitted that neither she was abducted nor enticed and she has gone on pilgrimage and has absolutely denied the allegations levelled by her mother Manjit Kaur who is also present in Court and has accepted the version detailed by her daughter Rajwinder Kaur. She submits that under some misconception she has filed the present petition. On the basis of the statement of Manjit Kaur that she withdraws the present petition, the same is allowed and is dismissed as DALBIR SINGH TIWANA 2016.05.12 10:38 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.

Criminal Writ Petition No. 587 of 2016 -2withdrawn.

Keeping in view that the petitioner has un-necessarily burdened the State by such frivolous petition and has un-necessarily wasted the Court time, impels this Court to penalize her and she is imposed costs for this, amounting to Rs 20,000/- which shall be deposited with District Legal Services Authority, Amritsar under intimation to this Court. Necessary intimation be sent to quarter concerned.
