Present petition has been filed seeking issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioner and safeguarding the life and liberty of the petitioner and other family members owing to a serious threat perception at the hands of private respondents and further prayer has been made to decide the representation dated 30.04.2026 (Annexure P-2) filed by petitioner at the earliest. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for the redressal of his grievance, petitioner has filed a representation dated 30.04.2026 (Annexure P-2) before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur but the same has not been taken into consideration till date. He has further submitted that petitioner would be satisfied if representation dated 30.04.2026 (Annexure P-2) is decided in a time bound manner.
