VIKRAM AGGARWAL, J.(Oral) The instant contempt petition alleges willful disobedience of order dated 16.03.2026 (Annexure P-8) passed in CRM-M-13881-2026, vide which the following directions were passed:- "6.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2-the Director General of Police, Haryana or, on assignment by him, by any other police officer not below the rank of the Superintendent of Police to decide the representation of the petitioner (Annexure P-12), by passing a speaking order within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of instant order. It is however clarified that no finding is being returned by this Court, with regard to merits of the contents of representation. The respondent No.2 shall be at liberty to make an independent assessment with regard to contents of representation of the petitioner and take an independent decision at his own level." Learned State counsel submits that in compliance of the aforesaid order, speaking order dated 02.05.2026 has been passed, which is taken on record. A copy of the said order has been furnished to learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the same, the petitioner does not wish to press the instant petition, at this stage and shall, if so advised, avail all such remedies as shall be admissible in law against the said speaking order.

That being so, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.

The contempt petition is accordingly disposed of. Rule stands discharged.
