******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The petitioner is facing trial for offences punishable under Section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Sections 377 and 505 of Indian Penal Code for committing sodomy with son of complainant, aged 11 years.
During trial statement of victim has been recorded wherein he has supported the case of prosecution. Statements of other witnesses have also been recorded.
Learned State counsel submits that 10 out of 14 witnesses have been examined and only formal witnesses remain to be examined Keeping in view above facts and gravity of offence, I find no reason to extend the benefit of regular bail to petitioner at this stage. Dismissed.
