**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No. 83 dated 2.7.2017 registered at Police Station Amargarh, District Sangrur under Sections 306, 304-B IPC.
Counsel for the petitioner contends that petitioner is the mother-in-law and the complainant had alleged that the petitioner's son was having illicit relations and that was the reason she committed suicide. Counsel further submits that the petitioner is 65 years old and is in custody since 11.7.2017.
State counsel submits that supplementary statements had been made by the complainant and the brother and mother of the deceased and they had made allegations of dowry demand.
The allegations of dowry demand come after five days of the complaint. In the first version, the reason for the suicide is stated to be the illicit relationship of the husband. The petitioner is the mother-in-law.
