(The aforesaid presence is being recorded through video conferencing since the proceedings are being conducted in virtual court) The instant petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.0171 dated 17.05.2019, under Sections 379-A/411 IPC, Police Station Civil Lines, Jind, District Jind.
Brief facts of the case are that the complainant moved an application disclosing the fact that on 17.05.2019 at about 7:15 pm, when she was present at Gohana Road, near Bus stand then a boy came on a motorcycle and snatched her purse containing one mobile phone, cash of Rs.7000-8000/-, one pair anklet, aadhar card and medicine etc. and she could recognize him, if he brought before her. During the course of arguments, it has been brought to the notice of the Court by learned State counsel that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined and now, the case is fixed for defence evidence.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the aforesaid fact and has restricted his prayer for giving direction to the ld. trial court to dispose of the present case on merits within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of the order. The request is acceded to.
