(Oral) Prayer in the instant civil writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing order dated 25.04.2025 (Annexure P-3), passed by respondent No. 2 (District Development and Panchayat Officer, Sri Muktsar Sahib).

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this petition with liberty to avail his alternate remedy of revision petition under Section 201 of Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (in short '1994 Act'), however, he submits that time bound directions be issued to decide the same. 3.
