An application dated 16.05.2016 sent by applicant Sonia wife of Daljeet Singh to the office of Hon'ble Chief Justice was taken on judicial side. Notice of motion was issued and learned State counsel was directed to get the matter enquired into and to submit report. Reply by the State has been filed, in which it is stated that Daljeet Singh alias Jeeta, Simranjit Singh alias Billa along with one Harpreet Lal alias Preeta, were produced on 16.05.2016 in the court of competent jurisdiction and were taken on one day police remand. They were again produced on 17.05.2016 in the court and were sent in judicial custody, who are still in judicial custody at Central Jail, Amritsar in case FIR No.176 dated 15.05.2016 under Section 22 of the NDPS Act.
