(ORAL) Learned senior counsel for the petitioner after arguing at length submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the respondent-authorities by filing a representation against the impugned orders dated 11.08.2021 (Annexure P-11) and 12.08.2021 (Annexure P-18). He submits that the respondent-authorities may be directed to consider and decide the same.

Learned senior counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions from Mr. Parminder Singh, Divisional Engineer C-II, GMADA, submits that in case the petitioner moves any such representation, the respondent-authorities would consider and decide the same expeditiously and in accordance with law, preferably within a period of three months. The writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.

It is, however, made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and, therefore, the petitioner would be at liberty to raise all the issues before the respondent-authorities.
