Petitioner has posed a challenge to FIR No. 18 dated 01.02.2014 registered under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act and all proceedings pursuant thereto. At the outset, it is submitted on behalf of State counsel that pursuant to FIR, investigation ensued and final report (under section 173 Cr.P.C.) was filed. Trial has made much headway by now. Out of fourteen witnesses cited by the prosecution, six have already been examined. Prosecution would not delay the case any further. As the trial is likely to culminate soon, this court finds no ground to interfere in writ jurisdiction of this court. Petition is disposed of. Petitioner shall, however, be at liberty to raise all the pleas raised herein before the trial court at the stage of final arguments.
