Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to allot the station to the petitioner to enable him to join as teaching fellow in pursuance of appointment order dated 26.10.2010. 2.

Learned State counsel, on the other hand, draws the attention of this Court to the counter affidavit dated 04.01.2011 filed by District Education Officer, Patiala on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3, to which there was no counter filed, wherein it has been stated that the petitioner was though issued the offer letter for the 121st post of Teaching Fellow in General (Male) category on 26.10.2010, however, on the same day, a mistake was noticed that appointment letters had already been issued to 121 candidates till 09.08.2010, the date of joining of Jai Bhagwan. It is further in affidavit of the same officer filed on 03.02.2011 pursuant to the directions of this Court, stated that the services of the aforesaid Jai Bhagwan were terminated on 26.10.2010 and the 121st post having been consumed, there was no other advertised post lying vacant, to which there was also no counter filed.

Learned counsel also submits that despite best efforts he has not been able to establish contact with the petitioner. 4.
