The present first petition has been filed by the petitioners under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.23 dated 18.04.2023, registered under Sections 353, 332, 186, 148, 149 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Narot Jaimal Singh, District Pathankot.

Vide order dated 01.06.2023, the petitioners were granted opportunity to join the investigation by protecting them from their arrest. 3.

Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Rajesh Kumar, has submitted that although, the petitioners have joined the investigation, however, they have not cooperated with the Investigating Officer. 2023:PHHC:118027 CRM-M-28526-2023 -2petitioners. The case involves attack on the police personnel while they were on patrolling duty. There are even medico-legal reports showing injuries suffered by them. Therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioners are required and the weapon of the offence is required to be recovered from the petitioners.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, as well as, the submissions made by the State counsel, this Court does not find it appropriate to interfere in the matter, so as to grant concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioners further. 5.

Dismissed.
