The petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to re-issue her a passport after correcting her mother's name and deleting her husband's name as she has got divorce. 2.

The learned counsel representing the respondent submits that the petitioner can visit the office of the Regional Passport Officer with the authenticated documents which shall be considered in accordance with law. 3.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to contact the Regional Passport Officer, Jalandhar, along with the authenticated documents to enable the authorities to pass an order in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date the documents are submitted.
