The present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 05.08.2011, whereby the notice for termination of services of the petitioner was issued to him. 2.
Learned counsel would submit that when the issuance of a second notice dated 04.05.2022, for the same purpose, was brought before this Court, it was directed vide order dated 02.06.2022 to keep it in abeyance. However, during the interregnum, the petitioner has since retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.12.2023.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
