A perusal of informatory application which has been taken on judicial side, reveals that it was moved on January 09, 2016 with the allegations that 4-5 police officials of CIA Staff, Ferozepur, came to the house of the applicant-Joginder Singh and took along with them his son Partap Singh. CRWP No. 84 of 2016 [2] ***** to have been prima facie established because FIR No. 4, dated 09.01.2016, under Section 21 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, was registered at Police Station Mamdot, District Ferozepur against Partap Singh, the alleged detenue, as he was found in possession of 260 grams of heroin without any permit or licence.
In view of the reply submitted by the State, instant application has been rendered infructuous and the same is disposed of as such. Information in this regard be sent to the petitioner.
