(Oral) The prayer of the petitioners in this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for the issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 and 2 to protect their life and liberty at the hands of respondents No.4 to 8 and also to provide protection to them in view of the threat given by respondents No. 9 to 11. There is a further prayer for deciding the representation submitted by the petitioner.

None appears for the petitioners.

The counsel for the State firstly referred to the reply dated 16.11.2020, as per which the Inquiry Officer came to the conclusion that on 09.04.2019 there was a minor dispute of abusing between both the parties. CRWP-7384 of 2020 -2husband of the petitioner died due to a heart-attack and not due to any injury on 09.04.2019.

On 19.07.2020, the second occurrence took place between the parties as there is a dispute between both the parties regarding a passage. Because of the dispute between the petitioner and respondents No. 4 to 9, proceedings under Section 107/150 Cr.P.C. were initiated against respondents No. 4, 5 and 7 namely, Manjeet Singh, Manjeet Kaur and Satpal Singh on the complaint of the petitioner. The Inquiry Officer submitted his report to the SSP Ludhiana (Rural) and recommended to consign the application of the petitioner.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.
