Learned counsel for the State has filed affidavit of Shri Rohan Singh Hooda, Deputy Superintendent, District Jail, Faridabad mentioning the period of imprisonment undergone by petitioner - Pariyavrit son of Surender. The affidavit is taken on record.

Criminal Writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to allow four weeks' parole to the petitioner to celebrate the marriage of his sister, namely, Sweeti.

CRWP No.868 of 2016 [2] been mentioned that the convict (petitioner) has been released on 09.07.2016 for three weeks furlough and he has been directed to surrender at the jail gate on 31.07.2016 after availing three weeks furlough. The marriage of petitioner's sister is to be solemnized today i.e. 11.07.2016. The petitioner has already been released on furlough. In the circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous and may be dismissed as such. Ordered accordingly.
