(Oral) This is a Criminal Writ Petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus, for release of the detenue who is stated to be present in Court today and is alleged to be in the illegal custody of respondents No.4 to 8.
On 04.08.2022, this Court was pleased to pass the following order:

In pursuance of the same, the detenue has been produced before this Court. It is the admitted case of both the parties that the said detenue has attained majority as her date of birth is 04.10.2002. The detenue has stated that she wishes to reside with her parents i.e, private respondents and not with the petitioner and that she was making the said statement without any coercion or undue influence. In view of the above-stated position, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition. Dismissed as withdrawn.
