The petitioner has challenged to the notifications dated 02.06.2009 (Annexure P-2) and 31.05.2010 (Annexure P-4) issued under Sections 4 and 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, followed by an Award dated 29.05.2012, purportedly qua the acquisition of his land fully described in para 1 of the writ petition.
The Land Acquisition Collector has filed written statement, para Meenu 2016.08.12 13:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
CWP-10826-2015 (O&M) -25 whereof reads as follows:
"5.
That the land in question was khasra No.40//14/2/1, 15/1, 41//11, 20, 40//24/3, 25/1/2 not included in the award no.11 dated 29.05.2012 in compliance of the direction issued by the competent authority vide letter no.5789 Dated 29.5.2012.
It is, therefore, respectfully prayed that the present writ petition may kindly be disposed off in view of submissions made above and the land in question of the petitioner has already been released."
In view of the fact that the petitioner's land has been ordered to be released, this writ petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of accordingly.
As regard to the second relief sought by the petitioner regarding annulment of the sale-deed(s), liberty is granted to him to approach the appropriate Forum.
