(Oral) It is contended that petitioner No.1 - Neelam Devi, aged about 24 years has got married with petitioner No.2- Pankaj, aged about 25 years, against the wishes of her family members, arrayed as private respondents No. 4 to 10 who are threatening to interfere in their marital life, as such to seek protection in that regard, the petitioners have approached this Court by way of filing the present petition.

The petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Superintendent of Police, Karnal, District Karnal, to look into the grievances of the petitioners and to take necessary measures to ensure that lives and liberty of the petitioners are not jeopardized at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 10 or persons claiming under them.
