The application sent by applicant-Jagdeep Kaur to the Hon'ble Chief Justice had been treated as criminal writ petition and was taken up on judicial side.

Notice of motion has been issued in this case. Mr. Varun Sharma, learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent-State and contested this criminal writ petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab appearing for the respondentState and have gone through the record. Learned State counsel has filed short reply by way of affidavit Harpal Singh Parmar 2016.09.07 10:37 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Cr. W.P. No.928 of 2016 [2] of Mr. Sukhminder Singh Chauhan, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rural, Patiala on behalf of the State and also the statement of petitioner Jagdeep Kaur wife of Gurinder Singh. In view of the statement of Jagdeep Kaur recorded by the Police, it has been stated that her husband Gurinder Singh has come back to home on 1.7.2016. She has stated that as the mobile of her husband was not responding, so she out of fear has filed applications to the Hon'ble High Court and other officers. In view of the reply of respondent-State, no further action is required in this petition and the same is disposed of. September 1, 2016.
