(ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for a direction to respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to register FIR regarding kidnapping and illegal detention of Manpreet Kaur, wife of the petitioner. Notice was issued in the said matter and status report on behalf of the State has already been filed.
As per the status report, the matter was investigated and it came to the knowledge of the police that the injured wife, namely Manpreet Kaur was lying in the injured condition in the Govt. Hospital, Mansa, where her statement was recorded on 26.01.2018 that she had been given beatings by SATYAWAN 2018.09.25 17:09 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh
CRM-M-9710-2018 -2her husband, the petitioner herein, along with two other persons, namely Jiwa Singh son of Babban Singh and Kaddu Singh son of Gurtej Singh, residents of village Kharat Singh Wala, District Mansa and after recording of the statement, the petitioner and his companions were arrested. Thereafter, statement of Manpreet Kaur was again recorded in which she had stated that she scared of her husband Buta Singh, the petitioner herein and she does not want to return and that she had already filed a divorce petition.
In view of the fact that the matter has been investigated and the statement of Manreet Kaur has been recorded, no further orders are called for.
Along with this petition, all miscellaneous applications stand disposed of.
