Learned State counsel has also submitted the status-report on behalf of respondents No.1 & 2 (by way of the affidavit of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala) along-with Annexure R-1/T and its vernacular version Annexure R-1, in the Court and these documents are also taken on the record.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition in view of the contents of the status-report as well as the accompanying documents. Resultantly, the petition in hand stands dismissed for having been withdrawn.
