Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioner seeking directions to the respondents to forward untraced report prepared in FIR No. 28 dated 26.02.2016, registered under Sections 382 & 34 IPC at Police Station City Kotkapura, District Faridkot. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that as per information supplied to the petitioner, the car could not be traced out and untraced report was submitted to the higher authorities long back on 14.06.2016, but still the matter remained undecided, resultantly petitioner is unable to settle his claim from the insurance company. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner has made representation dated 04.12.2017 (Annexure P5) to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Faridkot, respondent No.3-Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kotkapura and respondent No.4-Station House Officer, Police Station City Kotkapura, but the same remained unattended till now. Criminal Misc. No. M-9743 of 2018 Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners and perusal of record, respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Faridkot and respondent No.3-Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kotkapura are directed to look into the representation dated 04.12.2017 (Annexure P5) and take required action, if any, as per law within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid observations made and directions issued, the present petition stands disposed of.
