(ORAL) Present petition has been filed with a prayer that complaint (Annexure P-2) and representation dated 09.07.2021 (Annexure P-3) given by the petitioners to the police authorities be decided in a time bound manner by passing an appropriate speaking order. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that as per the complaint (Annexure P-2) made by petitioner No.2 , his son i.e. husband of respondent No.4, committed suicide and the same was done at the instigation of respondent No.4.

CRM-M-33633-2021 -2Mr. Sandeep Kumar, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who has joined the proceedings through video conference, keeping in view the service of advance copy of petition accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State.

Learned State counsel submits that complaint (Annexure P-2) and representation dated 09.07.2021 (Annexure P-3) will be decided by the authorities in a time bound manner by passing an appropriate speaking order.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioners in complaint (Annexure P-2) and representation dated 09.07.2021 (Annexure P-3), respondent No.2 is directed to decide the complaint (Annexure P-2) and representation dated 09.07.2021 (Annexure P-3) by passing a speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
