(Oral) In compliance of order dated 15.09.2022, fresh status report has been filed by way of affidavit of Tushar Gupta, IPS, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-4, Ludhiana. On the basis of aforesaid status report, learned State counsel submits that two of the accused have already been arrested and report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has already been filed against them and even charges have been framed against those two accused persons. Remaining two accused are still at large and they shall be dealt in accordance with law. Evidently, the victim was summoned only on 12.07.2022 by the Special Investigation Team after recording JYOTI SHARMA 2022.09.30 18:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this ordert/judgment

Learned State counsel on instructions from the Investigating Officer made a reference to the aforesaid fact on the last date of hearing on 15.09.2022.
This fact was also recorded in the previous status report submitted by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana in para no.8.
Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Lakhvir Singh submits that presence of the victim is not required. Even qua investigation of the accused who are still at large, report has already been submitted by the Special Investigation Team.
Learned State counsel also submits that absconding accused are being dealt in accordance with law including repeated raids being conducted at their known place of residences.
In view of statement made by learned State counsel, no further order is required to be passed in this case. Disposed of.
