1. The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of direction to the authorities concerned to grant regular parole to the petitioner for 10 weeks so as to enable him to get proper medical treatment in respect of his ailment i.e. Hemiparesis (Paralysis).

2. Learned counsel has submitted that although he had submitted an application to the Superintendent, District Jail, Jhajjar on 17.4.2023 but the same has not been decided till date. However, a copy of said application has not been annexed with the instant petition.

3. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without making any expression as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3Superintendent, District Jail, Jhajjar to do the needful for expeditious disposal of any such application as may have been filed by the petitioner seeking parole, preferably within a period of 2 weeks from today. In case, no such application has been filed till date, it shall be open to the petitioner to move a fresh application which shall be disposed of expeditiously.

4. Needless to mention the Superintendent, District Jail, Jhajjar in the interregnum shall ensure that a requisite medical treatment as may be required by the petitioner for his alleged ailment is made available to him.

5. A copy of this order be sent to respondent No.3-Superintendent, District Jail, Jhajjar, for necessary compliance.
