This is a civil writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the same benefit of study leave to the petitioner as granted to the similar employees. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has been informed that the benefit of earned leave has already been granted to the other similarly situated persons but does not have the confirm information whether the petitioner was also granted the said benefit or not. 3.

Taking note of the aforesaid statement, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition with a direction that the petitioner's case shall be governed by the decision rendered in the other writ petitions, which were allowed after dismissal of the SLP filed by the State of Punjab and if similarly situated other persons, who joined 'A' Grade Nursing Course have been granted study leave, the petitioner too shall be DINESH BANSAL 2023.07.26 10:11 I attest to the accuracy of this order Chandigarh
