Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) CM 8460 of 2016 is allowed. The policy dated 5.2.1996 and 2.11.2002 (as amended uptil 2003) is taken on record as P-10(colly.) Petitioner is the wife of Sh.Gurpiar Singh Bhatti, who while working as Radiographer with Department of Health and Family Welfare, Punjab sought voluntary retirement w.e.f. 27.7.2014 vide (P-5). The claim of the petitioner is for grant of compassionate appointment on account of her husband having been forced to voluntarily retire at the instance of officials, some of whom have been named. It is also alleged that they caused so much harassment to her husband that her husband had no other option but to seek voluntary retirement. Ancillary prayer is to initiate disciplinary proceedings against such officials. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner no case for interference is made out.

CWP 10077/2016 compassionate appointment is to be provided for a person who seeks voluntary retirement. Learned counsel has been unable to show any other rule, regulation or instructions which so provides. As regards the prayer for direction of disciplinary action, this Court cannot go into disputed questions of facts much less in the absence of such employees. There are vague and unsubstantiated allegations.
