(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.45 dated 10.09.2016 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 336 IPC and 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act at Police Station Khem Karan, District Tarn Taran, on the basis of compromise dated 02.12.2017 (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 09.03.2018 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate on 23.04.2018 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Patti, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.130 dated 03.05.2018 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Tarn Taran vide Endst. No.2257-R dated 04.05.2018.

According to the report, learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Patti is satisfied that compromise entered into between the parties is genuine, voluntary, without any coercion or undue influence with their free Ravinder Singh 2018.07.06 17:45 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document will.

-2CRM-M-9873 of 2018 Considering the report of learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Patti, dated 03.05.2018 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, FIR No.45 dated 10.09.2016 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 336 IPC and 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act at Police Station Khem Karan, District Tarn Taran is hereby quashed, subject to payment of costs of `10,000/-, out of which `6,000/- shall be deposited with the Punjab State Legal Services Authority and `4,000/- with the Punjab and Haryana High Court Lawyers' Welfare Fund. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
