(Oral) A prayer has been made for expeditious conclusion of the trial in case FIR No. 156/2016 under Section 354-A, 342, 506 IPC registered at Police Station Sector 14, Panchkula (CNR No. HRPK-03-009472-2016, Case No. Chi/646/2016 titled as "State v. Subhash Sharma"). Learned counsel submits that the case is pending for defence evidence and arguments since 27.02.2020. A direction be issued to the trial court to expeditiously conclude the trial.

The petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial court to make all possible endeavours to conclude the trial expeditiously, preferable on or before 31.12.2021.
