(Oral) The petitioners are questioning the election of respondent No.6 as Member of Zila Parishad from Ward No.5, Gurgaon. It is alleged that respondent no.6 was disqualified to contest the election. It is further alleged that the petitioners have made a complaint in this regard to the State Election Commission. It appears that no election petition has been filed by the petitioners so far.

Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks and is permitted to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to the petitioners either to file an election petition, if so maintainable or to pursue their complaint before the appropriate Authority. Ordered accordingly.
