(ORAL) The petitioner was appointed against the sanctioned part time post of Lecturer in History in the respondent No.4-School on 06.07.1998 and has continued since then. It is stated that respondent No.4-School had made a request and sent a proposal to the respondent No.2 to convert the part time post as full time post on the basis of workload but while deciding the legal notice Annexure P-9 this seminal issue had been swept under carpet by deciding that the School had made only one request for the same.

As per learned counsel, there is no requirement for more than one request to be made before earlier proposal is considered. In the circumstances learned counsel states that at this stage he is only making a limited prayer that the respondent No.2 should decide the question of conversion post from part time to full time on the basis of workload as per law within any reasonable time. I find this to be a fair request.

Resultantly, the petition stands disposed of at this stage with a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the question of conversion of the post of part time Lecturer in History in the respondent No.4-School to a full time post on the basis of workload in accordance with law within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

Petition stands disposed of in the above terms. Since the main case has been decided, the pending civil miscellaneous application, if any, also stands disposed of.
