This petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for the issuance of directions upon respondents No. 1 and 2 for taking action on the complaint of the petitioner (Annexure P-5) moved against the private respondents. 2.

Even on the second call, none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. On the last date also, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from the official concerned, submits that the petitioner has suffered a statement to the effect that she has compromised the matter with her husband i.e. respondent No. 3, as per which they would file a petition for a decree of divorce by mutual consent under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. Therefore, she does not want to pursue the complaint filed by her. The photocopy the said statement as well as compromise (in vernacular) have been placed on record.
