The grievance of the petitioner is against rejection of her nomination for Gram Panchayat election on the ground that she is absent in one of the papers shown in Secondary School Examination Certificate attached by her.

The elections are scheduled to be held on 24.01.2016. (3)
It is too late at this stage to call upon the respondents to adjudicate the issue raised by the petitioner moreso when she has got the efficacious alternative remedy to file the election petition.

The instant writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to institute the election petition, if so advised, however, keeping in view all the attending circumstances, the Election Tribunal is directed to ensure that the election petition, if so filed, is decided within six months.
