The prayer wrapped in the instant writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to release the refundable security amount deposited by the petitioner and to pay stipend @ ₹9,000/- per month for one year, which has not been paid despite completion of the MBBS course and internship, along with interest @ 18% per annum. 2.

During the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that, at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied in case a direction is issued to the competent respondent amongst the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 29.01.2026 (Annexure P-6) within a stipulated time period.

Mr. Sahil R. Bakshi, A.A.G., Punjab, who is in receipt of an advance copy of the writ petition, submits that there is no objection in case a direction is issued to the respondent(s) to decide the legal notice (supra) within a stipulated time period.

CWP-13906-2026 merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the competent respondent amongst the respondents to take a final decision on the legal notice (supra) within four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
