Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he has no instructions for the last six months in the matter from his clients. 2.

On the other hand, learned State counsel has filed the reply dated 05.12.2022, by way of affidavit of DSP, Sub-Division Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3, in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Office to tag the same at appropriate place.

A copy thereof has been handed over to the counsel for the petitioners.

While referring to the aforesaid reply/status report, learned State counsel submits that in the present protection petition filed by the petitioners, already one FIR No.91, dated 10.07.2022, under Sections 363, 366-A of IPC, at Police Station Sadar Malout, has been registered against petitioner No.1, on the statement of private respondent No.4. 4.

It is also mentioned in the reply that petitioner No.2 - JAWALA RAM 2023.04.24 18:57 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgement.

CRWP-6788-2022 - 2 - Akashdeep Kaur, is still a minor girl, and as per school records, her date of birth is 15.01.2005.

Learned State counsel further submits that once petitioner No.1 is facing proceedings of investigation, no relief as claimed in present petition, can be granted.

Faced with the situation that already one FIR has been registered against petitioner No.1, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks withdrawal of present petition with liberty to take recourse to the alternative remedy, as may be available to the petitioners under the law. 7.
