On instructions from Sh. Gaurav Sharma, Senior Assistant, DPI (Secondary), the learned counsel representing the State of Punjab submits that the State is unable to comply with the order dated 20.04.2022, as the original record which was directed to be produced by the Court, has been misplaced and a DDR for the same has been registered on 10.12.2022. 2.
The petitioners herein pray for the issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash clause (6) of the impugned award policy dated 10.07.2018, whereby, a provision for granting extension in service to the teachers who were awarded by the State was withdrawn. The learned counsel representing the State of Punjab has submitted that vide instructions MOHD AYUB 2023.05.25 11:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.
CWP-14997-2020 & CWP-8424-2023 dated 31.03.2023, the benefit of extension of service to the teachers who were awarded with the State award has been restored, excluding employees who have retired.

The learned counsel representing the State of Punjab submits that the petitioners who are still in service shall be considered in accordance with the instructions dated 31.03.2023.

In view of the aforesaid statement of the learned counsel representing the State of Punjab, the learned counsel representing the petitioners pray for permission to withdraw the writ petitions. 5.
Ordered accordingly.

All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
