1. The petitioner seeks issuance of directions in the nature of Mandamus to direct respondent No.3 to decide his representation dated 08.04.2023 (Annexure P-1) wherein he has made a prayer for his release on parole.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite a period of about 2 months having elapsed, the said application has not been decided till date.

3. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards the merits of the assertions made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3Superintendent, District Jail, Karnal, to get the representation dated 8.4.2023 MOHAN SINGH 2023.06.02 18:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRWP-5581-2023 (O&M) ( 2 ) 2023:PHHC:080809 (Annexure P-1) examined and is disposed off in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of two weeks from today. In case, no such application is found to have been submitted by the petitioner, it shall be open to the petitioner to file a fresh application which shall be disposed off expeditiously.

4. A copy of this order along with copy of representation dated 8.4.2023 (Annexure P-1) be sent to respondent No.3-Superintendent, District Jail, Karnal, for necessary compliance.
