JUSTICE SANDEEP MOUDGIL Present: Mr. Ashok Giri, Advocate, for the petitioner --- SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of necessary directions to the official respondents to lodge cross-case against private respondents for having assaulted the petitioner in case arising out of FIR No.24, dated 17.4.2024, under Sections 341/506 and 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Nurmehal, District Jalandhar Rural. Further, prayer is made to take action against erring police officials under Section 166-A (c) of IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to look into the representation dated 20.4.2024 (Annexure P-4), within a time bound manner.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural, to look into the representation dated 20.4.2024 (Annexure P-4) and decide the same by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of two weeks.
