(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already paid a sum of Rs. 50,000/- in terms of order dated 19.08.2021. He further submits that a sum of Rs. 50,000/- would either be deposited in account of complainant or would be handed over to learned counsel for the complainant by taking a proper receipt or would be sent by way of a demand draft made in favour of the complainant by tomorrow positively. He further submits that he be given one month more time to deposit the balance amount of Rs. 1 lakh.
With such undertaking, the petition is allowed and the order dated 19.08.2021 is made absolute.
It is clarified that in case the petitioner fails to deposit the balance amount of Rs. 1 lakh on or before 09.05.2022 then the interim order shall stand recalled without any further reference and the petitioner shall surrender before the concerned police station on 10.05.2022 positively. On depositing of Rs. 1 lakh, the petitioner shall hand over the receipt to the investigator/SHO concerned.
