The prayer in the present petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of BNSS is for the issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the official respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners. 2.

The learned State counsel, at the very first instance, submits that the statements of the petitioners have been recorded as per which they do not face any threat from respondents No.5 to 7. The statements of respondents No.5 to 7 have also been recorded as per which they have stated that they do not wish to interfere in the lives of the petitioners. 3.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.
