PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present writ petition is for quashing the final result Annexure P-9 published on 25th of May, 2023 passed by respondent No.2. Further mandate is prayed for in the form of directions to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for selection and issuance of the appointment letter on the post of Sub-Inspector (Community & Victim Support) under the Scheduled Caste (M&B) Category along with all consequential benefits.

Mr. Dhir appearing on advance notice on behalf of the respondents brings to the notice of this Court that the advertisement itself prescribed for Appellate Authority and the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition without following the said remedy. Faced with this situation counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant writ petition filed by the petitioner be ordered to be treated as appeal and the Appellate Authority as prescribed under covenant contained DEEPAK KUMAR 2023.06.02 12:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
