(Oral) Petitioner, in his second attempt, seeks grant of regular bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C in case bearing FIR No.101 dated 15.10.2019, registered under Section 4 of the POCSO Act at Police Station Chabbewal District Hoshiarpur. Earlier CRM-M No.23732 of 2020, after arguing for some time, was got dismissed as withdrawn on 09.12.2020. Prosecutrix as well as her mother have been examined as PW-1 and PW-2 respectively.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has relied upon the aforesaid statements only to the extent of showing ANITA DEVI 2022.03.22 10:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned State counsel, however, opposed the bail on the ground that out of total 24 prosecution witnesses, 14 witnesses have been examined, 6 witnesses have been given up and only 4 witnesses are left to be examined. Today is the date fixed in the trial Court.

In view of aforesaid position, there is no ground to interfere in this petition. This petition is accordingly dismissed. However, the trial Court shall make every endeavour to decide the trial at the earliest.
