The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 (Corresponding to Section 482 Cr.PC) seeking appropriate directions to respondents No. 1 to 4 to get the investigation conducted in a fair and impartial manner in case FIR No. 0043 dated 21.02.2022 under Sections 452, 336, 323, 148, 149, 120-B IPC, 1860 (Sections 333, 125, 115(2), 191(3), 190 of BNS 2023) and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 (Offence under Section 307 IPC, 1860 (corresponding Section 109 of BNS was added later on) at Police Station City Kharar, District SAS Nagar (Annexure P-2). 2.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.P.S.Pandher, AAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State. He, upon instructions from ASI Balwinder Singh, submits that the investigation is being conducted in a fair manner and challan shall be presented within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present case.
