Parvinder @ Paramjit Kaur, the appellant has filed this appeal challenging judgment and decree dated 09.10.2006 passed by the Additional District Judge, Ferozepur dissolving her marriage with Karam Singh, the respondent.
Parvinder @ Paramjit Kaur is present in Court with her counsel and states that as she has received an amount of `7,50,000/- as permanent alimony and has met her son, she withdraws the appeal and OMKAR SINGH 2016.03.01 10:24 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
FAO No.M- 280 of 2006 [2] accepts the decree of divorce. Parvinder @ Paramjit Kaur also states that she should be allowed to meet their son once in a month. She further states that she shall not carry out into execution the order passed in her favour under Section 125 Cr.P.C., as she has received maintenance past, present and future and permanent alimony.
Counsel for the respondent states that the respondent has no objection if their son meets the appellant as even otherwise, he is a major and it is upto him to meet his mother or not. In view of statement made by the appellant and counsel for the respondent, the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn by affirming the judgment and decree dated 09.10.2006 passed by the Additional District Judge, Ferozepur.
