1. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner confines his prayer to the limited extent of protection of his life and liberty as he apprehends threat to the same at the hands of the private respondents. It has also been submitted that the petitioner had earlier submitted a representation dated 17.4.2023 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.2, but to no avail.

2. This Court has heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and has also perused the petition and the documents annexed therewith. A perusal of representation dated 17.4.2023 (Annexure P-3) shows that the same is not in respect of any threat perception of the petitioner. In any case since the MOHAN SINGH 2023.06.02 18:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRWP-5506-2023 (O&M) ( 2 ) 2023:PHHC:080849 petitioner alleges that he has threat to his life and liberty, it is directed that in case the petitioner moves a detailed representation to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SBS Nagar, delineating all the circumstances leading to the threat perception, within one week from today, respondent No.2 shall get the same examined expeditiously in accordance with law so that no harm is caused to the petitioner. Respondent No.2 shall also examine the apprehensions of the petitioner to the effect that the private respondents along with some others are trying to obstruct him from organizing a Mela on 05.06.2023 by resorting to illegal means and by threatening the petitioner.

3. A copy of this order be sent to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SBS Nagar, for necessary compliance.
