Prayer in the present petition, filed under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023, is for issuance of a direction to official respondent Nos.2 & 3 to furnish a status report in the FIR No.0001 dated 02.01.2025, registered at Police Station Cyber Crime, District Ludhiana, under Sections 420 & 120-B of the IPC. Another prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to freeze and investigate the bank accounts, details of which were given by the petitioner regarding alleged cheating of Rs.15,40,000/- having been committed by the accused named in the aforesaid FIR. 2.

Learned State counsel, upon instructions from ASI Jasbir Singh, Police Station Cyber Crime, Ludhiana, submits that 08 bank accounts, as named in the FIR and disclosed by the petitioner, have already been frozen.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to take appropriate action as per law.

Dismissed as withdrawn with aforesaid liberty. 5.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand disposed of.
