Present petition has been filed by the petitioners, seeking issuance of direction to the official respondents, to protect their life and liberty from the hands of private respondents. 2.

This Court noticed that petitioner No.2-Mohd. Anas, is a resident of Hussainpur, P.O. Sarsawa, District Uttar Pradesh. Petitioner No.1-Simran, is also presently shown to be residing at the same address. The primary question that arises for consideration is how the present petition is maintainable before this Court when the protection sought pertains to the State of Uttar Pradesh, where both the petitioners are residing.

Further, it is noticed that no photographs of the marriage have been placed on record.
