The present revision petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India challenging the order dated 21.02.2024 (Annexure P-10) passed by the learned Commercial Court-cum-Additional District Judge, Panchkula whereby the application filed by defendant No.1-petitioner herein under Order 1 Rule 10 CPC for deletion of the names of defendantrespondents No.2 to 8 herein from the array of parties was dismissed. 2.

Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the plaintiffrespondent No.1, on instructions from Ms. Seerat Saldi, Advocate states that plaintiff-respondent No.1 does not wish to lay any contest to the present revision petition. Learned senior counsel, however, prays that since the AMAN JAIN 2025.03.06 10:25 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CR-3455-2024 (O&M) -2present is a commercial suit which has been pending since 2020, the same may be ordered to be disposed off expeditiously. 3.

Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of defendant No.1petitioner states that he would have no objection if directions are issued to the Court concerned for expeditious disposal. 4.

In view of the above, the impugned order dated 21.02.2024 (Annexure P-10) is set aside. Consequently, the application filed under Order 1 Rule 10 CPC (Annexure P-8) by defendant No.1-petitioner is allowed. The names of defendant-respondents No.2 to 8 be deleted from the array of parties. The Court concerned is requested to decide the commercial suit(s) pending before it expeditiously keeping in view the provisions of the Commercial Courts Act, 2015.
